Tonight, Saturday October 28th, was - the Coshocton
Trunk or Treat and Chili cook-Off! We had a blast and had 34 people attend including 11 children which
made it so fun! We had invited all of
our branch, our friends and their families and we were happy to have three of
the Klein families: Devin, Amanda, Ryann, Riley, Regan and Briar, Teri and
Chip and, Devin, Lindy, Blaze and Teagan. Also attending were Susie, Shikara, Erma, Elders Jones and LaFleur, Rain, Sister
Sims, her two grandchildren, President and Sister Welker, Heather,
Tanner and the three kids, Brooke, Corey and Tyler.
Lynn and Becky Jacobs and Ed Webber came too!
We had a chili cook-off, which turned out to be a soup
cookoff, judged by the Elders and once again Teri Klein came away with the
trophy with her yummy taco soup!
After our delicious dinner, the kids played games and had a
blast! We played pumpkin bingo, pumpkin golf, pumpkin tic tac toe, bingo, donuts on a
string, ring toss, made crafts and musical pumpkins.
We had so much fun watching the kids and "kids at heart" play the fun games! The adults listened to the Ohio State Football
game, and they won, which made an extra happy crowd!
And our pumpkin even had an Angel Moroni carved into it!
Thanks to the artist President Welker!

Then with the weather kind of cold and dreary we went trick
or treating to each of the doors in the church
building, and that turned out very fun!
With 11 kids and 5 BIG bags of candy, the kids came away with a haul!
Teri Klein did decorate her trunk as a cookie monster and so we made a quick
visit outside, it was darling!
We love how our branch has fun activities that bring families
and our branch family together! We were so happy with the turnout and the fun
memories we created!
This looks like a fun event. The pictures remind me so much of our first Halloween in Edwards. A very similar vibe in our little branch there. Good memories!
